Dear Shaded Viewers,
I had two meetings this morning, which turned into three and a lively Sandra Backlund fashion show that even you would not believe. All I can say is that the people that run the Cosy Cafe on rue Mont Tabor are the coolest cafe owners that I’ve ever met. You’ll understand when you see the impromptu fashion show.
I am literally home for a minute so photographs will follow at who knows what hour since the IQONS party is tonight and I want to stop by the FLY party before which gives me all of 5 minutes to write to you.
Jean Charles de Castelbajac put on one of his best collections in seasons. It was both lively and modern and not complicated at all.
Haider Ackermann was one of my favourite shows of the week. He makes clothes that are modern, sensual and just elegant as hell. I loved them and surprisingly enough there were even a few black pieces. If you are into shorts, his asymmetrical ones have to be the sexiest shorts I’ve ever seen.

Charles ANastase put on his best collection to date full of wonderful volumes, great details, and beautiful prints. It was young in spirit but at the same time a mature collection. I was speaking with Marie Luisa of the shop in Paris by the same name when I was exiting the show and she said that this was her favourite show of the season, done with such little money and far better than any of the big shows. Sonny’s great pics to follow.

Nicolas Andreas Taralis showed a clean and modern collection that included men’s wear this season. My favourite pieces were a silver windbreaker and a white knit poncho that reminded me of the red one he did last season with `zips. Also I liked the loosely knit sweater on Jamie. Yes, he offered men’s looks this season.
