Dear Shaded Viewers,

The first night that I arrived I ran into Stephan Schneider and his team in the act of preparing their window for the Vitrine.

There was much too much glare but this window had a wonderful display of traditional leatherhosen for some reason it made me think of Bernhard Willhelm.

I had asked the two girls if they could move out of the frame for the photo until I realised that they were the artists for the Vitrine, so I asked them to move back into the frame.

Walter Van Beirendonck’s Vitrine was inside the shop but it was one of my favorites.

THis has nothing to do with the Vitrine but I love the glossy facade of the Vincent Van Duysen building.

Before leaving Antwerp I had breakfast with an angel, David Flamee, the taxi came late, stuck in traffic, and when I told him that I missed my train, he suggested that next time I call a helicopter. Now, that is an interesting idea.
