Dear Shaded Viewers,
For the first time in the history of the festival the jury prize winner walked off with more than a potted palm, 15,000 euros to be exact.
It took three hours of debate to come up with the winner for the grand jury prize and most likely what convinced them was Anthony’s obsession with technique. What I would love to see in the future is Anthony working with Ann Demeulemeester and giving a more streamlined edge to his silhouettes. Congratulations Anthony.
I was speaking with the director of La Cambre after the show and he was very happy to see La Cambre in the selection again this year and of course super proud that Anthony was the winner.
