Performance artist Mai Ueda presented her Mai Bag for Celine tonight. I arrived around l9h30 and had just missed it but was delighted when Mai offered to give me a private performance which I have shared with you in the next post. She did her .com reading stretched out on her satin sheets and surrounded by her beautiful clothes and before I left, she performed again.
For Celine Mai took the plastic bag shape and turned it into a luxury product by dipping baby kangaroo skin in gold and silver and then treating the leather with a special process of silicone. Celine has asked different women artists to collaborate with them from all around the globe.
