Stylist to the Stars, Pat Kurs started her career as a photographer by shooting her boudoir dolls. They enjoyed acting out all of her fantasies sometimes wearing little garter belts. In her life as a stylist, Pat worked with the best including Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon, Bill King, Patrick Demarchelier, Bert Stern, Chris Van Wagenheim and they were totally inspired by her generosity of unimaginable ideas.

Pat was first published in the late 70’s with a book titled SX-70. This year she was rediscovered by the editor, Danniel Rangel and from that moment on her dreams turned into realities and her images started to appear in world famous publications.

I met Pat in the beginning of my fashion design career in New York.  I remember one image styled by Pat, wish that I still had it, with Janice Dickerson wearing a long black velvet dress of mine carrying a bouquet of red roses wrapped in clear plastic. It might sound normal now but it wasn’t then.
