Dear Shaded Viewers,
I had a pleasant surprise this morning reading Denyse Beaulieu’s very targeted portrait of me on la-couture.com.
I also liked the photos by Vincent Lappartient. Denyse aka Carmen Canada has just launched a shopping blog oney-shopping.com which I think you will find quite interesting. She is a fascinating woman which made it even more pleasant to read what she had to say about me.
Later, Diane
P.S. Colette has many plans for fashion week. Highlights include: the Neistat Brothers expo at Colette starting 3rd October until 5 November.
BIG MAGAZINE pays homage to the beautiful Lauren Hutton. I remember she bought one of my designs a long time ago and I was thrilled.
Above is Marko Matysik international fashion icon that wears one of the rare Marlena Dietrich perfumes. I know that because we ran into each other on one of my last days in London when I was waiting outside the LFW tents for my interview with a writer from the Financial Times and when we kissed I fell in love with his scent. He had so many funny stories and his toes are painted red. His new assistant is a perfect candidate for the festival of Hyeres. I am looking forward to his ultra luxe accessories at Colette.
I might add that I also fell in love with Arthur De Muynck, I know he is only 10. Arthur recited the text from Maison Martin Margiela for the CFA/MODAFAD video installation that I am working on. His English was perfect and Arthur learned it not from studying but from the many hours that he spends in front of his computer. He has been known to read computer instruction books as bedtime reading material. Here is a picture of the lovely Patrick De Muynck family. Patrick instructs the second year at the Royal Academy of Antwerp.
