Valeria Siniouchkina, an ex-Hyeres festival winner, is presenting her collection at Rendez-Vous in Paris.
I met Valeria when she was participating at the festival d’Hyeres and then when I was the casting director for the first fashion reality TV show, Fashion House that took place in Rome, I cast her for the French House. Celebrated London designer, Gareth Pugh was cast for the London House. It was a funny experience because the French House was the only one that did not have a TV channel or crew following them around since French TV had not yet embraced reality TV and the Farm. They were like the orphans of the show, nobody took care of them because they had no tv and no limo. French TV is a bit slow on the draw. Anyway she did a great job, did not win, but none the less the French designers were the best. Gareth did not win either it went to a Swedish designer. At any rate that is in the past 2003, the new news is take a look at her collection at Paris’s Rendez-Vous.
